Christian O’Toole is the founder and creative director of Autumnal Films. A versatile, digital-native creative strategist, producer, director & editor, O’Toole is highly skilled and experienced in transforming innovative creative concepts into customized high-performance social-first video content for global media companies and F500 clients.

He most recently worked as a producer, director, and editor for Comic Relief, US in New York City, creating social media content and short-form impact documentary films to support the non-profit organization’s mission to help children and families experiencing poverty in the US and around the world. His video campaigns helped the non-profit win four Shorty Impact awards and raised over $150 million to end child poverty.

He previously served as Director of Video for Men’s Journal for American Media, Inc. and for Men’s Health, and Women’s Health at Rodale publishing, defining, developing, and managing video programming strategies, and creative workflows for both internal and external video teams and delivering tens of millions of monthly video views and $3.5M+ in annual digital branded content advertising revenue.

He is highly skilled in the full Adobe Creative suite including Premiere and After Effects and works as a finishing editor and colorist in DaVinci Resolve. He is also experimenting with generative AI tools such as Midjourney and Runway to create custom pre-visualization storyboards and innovative AI animations through the creative agency Mis-en-scene.io.
